Aurisina Fiorita is a compact limestone consisting of a rich organic fraction represented by fragments of variable shape and size. The background color is gray, tending to hazelnut dominated by blooms, organic fragments of gray/ brown larger. The fossil remains are usually elongated, the distribution of fossil remains gives an effect of homogeneity over a large surface.
